The location was wonderful. I spent a few days in devon. it was a perfect place for my daughter and my two young granddaughters. It offered a swimming pool. A play area. Beach access. Food and entertainment! there was a nostalgic feel. Reminding me of holidays in devon when i was a little girl. But it was very modern and tasteful.
Unfortunately. What i didn't like far outweighs the good. i paid for a family room. there were two single beds and a double bed in the room, but only the double was made up. So there was no choice but to share. the bathroom had a very hot towel rail right next to the toilet, which isn't ideal with a young child. She kept trying to hold onto it.

I liked that breakfast had a good selection. The sports facilities had all the necessary equipment. The swimming pool supplied towels, A BIG ADVANTAGE.

The pool was great. i also used the on-site surf shop to rent bodyboards for the day. THAT was very convenient.

decent facilities but some issues
decent facilitieshot towel railhigh dispenser
i stayed at this hotel for an easter trip. the facilities were decent enough.
unfortunately, a few things let down my experience. the bathroom was not great. a hot towel rail sat right next to the toilet (not ideal with kids) and the soap dispenser was too high to reach. the private beach entrance also required hiking up and down sand dunes, which isn't fun with beach gear.
